good morning!

Emery going to bed late usually means a 5am wake up call. Not today! We all slept until 8:15, including Ruby (who only woke up for a 5 o'clock feeding and then went right back to sleep).

Emery brought me the cereal daddy left out on the counter for breakfast.

Ooh!

He then proceeded into the family room for a little Brobee fix. I walked in to find him on the couch trying to turn on the TV with the "mote".

I bribed him to sit on the chair with Ruby by turning on the latest installment of Yo Gabba Gabba-- it's about birthdays since we're prepping for his!

He really liked Biz's beat-of-the-day.

He might just be a bit of a rapper in the next couple of years...

And now on to the love.

When I gave Ruby a rest, he put on his sad face and kept asking to hold her.

So they watched the rest of the show together.

And then more hugs.

When I rock him to sleep at night, he likes to put his arm behind my back. He was insistent on doing the same thing with his sister this morning.

He gave up and held her hand instead.

She's as sweet and patient as ever. It's wonderful to see her light up when she gets a glimpse of Emery-- they are interacting much more now these last few days.

And he's such a fun handful!
