let the good times roll

When Emery first started using the bottle, I remember feeding it to him in his car seat while Nate was driving. I freaked out a little, paranoid that he was going to choke and Nate would get in an accident trying to pull over as I screamed and ripped the baby out of his seat, giving him the Heimlich at the same time.

Fast forward six months. I'm one of three primary secretaries for our ward, which has 140 children in it. Every Sunday, Emery and I wander the halls. He's become adept at drinking his bottle while laying in his stroller, with it propped up just right (which we discovered after many attempts).

Times have changed.

  2. isnt it funny how becoming a mom makes you think of every bad and/or scary thing that can happen to you and your babies, in every situation. i rememeber not being able to sleep when janie was in her crib, in her room where the window was facing a street and sidewalk often used. i had visions of a creepy man climbing into her bolted window and stealing her away from me.

    thank goodness for a second child and calmed nerves. (laziness really)

    emery looks quite content (and cute) in that stylish bugaboo stroller!

  3. THAT is my favorite picture. Wouldn't it be great to be toted around like that on Sunday, with your fit up, jammies on, munching on some lunch! Live it up Emery!!!
