Four nights have passed since Emery began his sleep journey. As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing."
Funny how much of a change we're already seeing. He's happier upon awaking and the crying once he's in his crib has lessened over time. When he wakes up during the night, we give him his favorite monkey and turn on his beloved lullaby (which plays continuously on repeat--thank heaven for CDs) and that's it. Last night his cries lasted for an hour and forty seven minutes, but I think we're getting over the hurdle much more quickly than expected.
He's even enjoying some independent time now during the day, too. Record of 40 straight joyful minutes today. Our lives are changing!
