Lady B

Brooklyn was knighted a Lady at her school for slaying the multiplication dragon through all her hard work this school year. She also won an award for her reading comprehension on the standardized testing. Emery and I were lucky enough to attend the celebration presentation.

He was so happy for his favorite 9 year old!

Getting ready to begin.

Emery enjoyed seeing all the kids.

Brothers are great!

Emery played peek-a-boo (his new favorite trick) during the down time.

We're so proud of her accomplishments in 3rd grade.
Emery is very happy to have such a fabulous cousin!

Brooklyn got a big congrats hug from her dad.

She has lots of fans!

Some of Brooklyn's classmates posed for a pic after the presentation.

And then they gathered around Emery-- he was quite the hit, although some of the kids were upset he had taken off his glasses.

He enjoyed all the attention.

Especially the sweet touches and loads of smiles received.

And that was that. The students made their way back to class and Emery and I were left in the cafeteria alone.

He was a little sad to see them all go.

He spent the rest of the ride to the car looking around for another cute 3rd grader-- to no avail.

We love Brooklyn and are so excited to be related to someone that is officially knighted.
Way to go, Lady B!
